The Führer of Great Germany.

Der Führer Grossdeutschlands. The Führer of Great Germany. Note: Send to a SS-Sturmmann from the Burgerbraukeller in München. The pictures are a part of the description. The Bürgerbräukeller was opened in 1885 in Gasthauskeller in Munich. It was a large-scale establishment of the Aktiengesellschaft Bürgerliches Brauhaus Munich respectively after a merger of Löwenbräu AG. The building was located on Rosenheimer Straße in the district of Haidhausen behind the cultural center Gasteig. Today the Hilton Munich City Hotel is located on the property as well as the main administration of GEMA, where a commemorative plaque commemorates Georg Elser. The restaurant accommodated 1,830 people and was a popular venue for political events during the Weimar Republic. At this time, the Bürgerbräukeller was owned by the Löwenbrauerei under the landlord Korbinian Reindl. On 8 November 1923, the Bavarian General Commissioner Gustav von Kahr held a large event in the crowded hall, which was then stormed by Adolf Hitler, Erich Ludendorff, Hermann Goering, and other National Socialists. From here on the morning of November 9, 1923, the march to the Feldherrnhalle - the failed Hitlerputsch - took place. On February 27, 1925, the NSDAP, which had been forbidden as a result of the coup attempt, was revived. Hitler gave a militant speech in which he announced the reckless conduct against all the enemies of the NSDAP. On April 25, 1928, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gustav Stresemann, came here to make a speech in the Reichstag election campaign as the top candidate of the DVP. He was shouted down for an hour and a half by NSDAP supporters led by Hermann Esser until the police closed the meeting. From 1933, always on 8 November, Hitler in the Bürgerbräukeller gave a speech before participants in the coup attempt.
